Furnish & Installed JJ Flooring, Shaw Carpet, Armstrong, Mohawk, Forbo, Tarkett, and Peda-Gard.

Completion Time

The full job was completed within 9 months. Safety Information: The Company Safety Plan was enacted with the use of hard hats, safety glasses, steel toe boots, as well as proper safety harnesses and tie off for lifts, as well as being aware of and using the proper GFCI’s on cords and checking the condition of tools before and after each workday to ensure proper operation so as no injuries would occur because of use.

Project Summary

To completely retrofit and renovate the First and Second Floor public areas. Total square footage was thirty-two thousand square feet. We removed all existing base and flooring in the common areas. JJ Kinetex was used at the library, map top, and underground with custom patches identifying I-55, I-20, Natchez Trace and lava. JJ broadloom carpet installed at the platforms. Shaw carpet tile was installed in the music rooms. Armstrong VCT was installed in café, locker room and kitchen. Mohawk Walk Off carpet was used at both the front and back entrances. Forbo Linoleum flooring was installed in the Wonderbox Exhibit with a coordinating tile backsplash. Tarkett Lino Floor linoleum installed in three colors throughout in a unique design, and new stair treads and risers. Peda-Gard decorative traffic bearing coating was installed at the water feature.
